    Thumbs up The new Shadows

    Hey girls!
I have purchased the new Honda 07 Shadow, in pearl white, and boy does it get the looks! And from the oldies too.
I was a little apprehensive about going from a 250 to the 750 as there ain't much of me, and a lot of bike. But boy the weight is so sweetly balanced, the 750 is just as easy to manouver around the roads than the 250!
The seat height is awesome too, as the leg and seat length is just perfect for me being 5'1" only! There is a little prob though at times if I get in a little rut, and I need to move around on the tip of me toes.
There have been heaps of good comments from the guys at my work, and as usual the comment from one was "hate to pick that one up" and that was it!
I was going to buy one of those new boulevards, but wasn't keen on a all the plastic look so instead fell in love with the Honda, and boy I am loving it.
So if you are thinking about it, look into it. It is an awesome biker-chic cruiser!

It passed the only test necessary - you like it!
Well done. It's such a buzz picking up a brand spanking new machine!
I hope you weren't looking forward to practicing some mechanics on it because it's a Honda and will never break down or need servicing. You will learn to live with that aspect of honda ownership.
Edit- just looked at your profile picture. It does look smart in white!

I've been looking at those 750 Shadows and thinking they look ''just right''.It's got all the proportions that bigger ones haven't.I'll have the Hank Marvin special in stratocaster red.

Looks awesome Shazz - I remmember well the thrill of picking up my Honda Shadow brand new back in 97 (shit! 10 years ago). Being a boy, I had to buy a black one and it was an 1100ACE. I think the 750ace had only just been released.

    Have fun!

There is a black one near where I work, and I do like the look of it. I look at it every day and smile.

There. I said it. A cruiser that looked good.

    Hey thanks everyone.

Cool to hear of the good comments on this thread, yeah me and the new 'girl' are going to be best of mates, case of having too, cause the finance company own it for a bit longer, hehehe.
Anyone around the ways wanting to go for a ride; have given up the weekend job now and about to begin the dance of the suns, in the hope that someone up there will hear me long enough to turn the bloody taps off, so that I can get out on the road!
Heaps of fun in the sun, where's the sand? Ah hell have to go back home for that!
    Take care ya all!

Hell I don't, they might be upset with me. I will have to wont I.
No true I didn't mean any offence, but alot of the 'ladies' bikes are bits of plastic put together.
There is not alot out there styled for a 'real' woman! Opps that might be offensive also, so apologies prior! me have big mouth!!!!!
Not many bikes out there for a woman who likes to have a nice bit of reving meaty throb under her bum. Now that may be getting a little too personal.
Oh well, give up. A nice bike then!
