Slowly getting rid of the purple...

Well, got the rear of my 7R painted on the weekend...no more purple on the body of the bike.

Not this weekend, but hopefully the one after the wheels are getting shadow chromed

Can't wait to be rid of the purple...I really don't know what Kawasaki were thinking.

What do you guys think? I'm loving it

Its a dark chrome...sort of. You've prob seen them around on cars and just thought they were dirty chrome mags

This is Shadow Chrome: http://www.wheelcollision.com/69471.jpg Although that image doesn't do the colour justice

One of my best mates a painter, he's doing me a couple of favours after hours and not charging.

Didn't actually realise shadow chrome was just 2 kinds of special paint. Can't wait for the wheels to be done.

Hmmm, Red - Kawasaki 'corporate' colour. THE colour of their road bikes.
Post pics when the wheels are done

    Prefer Kawasaki Kelly Green myself...

Yeah, the green and purple version always looked pretty cool!
The colour scheme was due to the Muzzy Kawasaki team running that colour in WSBK. A young Anthony Gobert was a pretty impressive item on that bike.

waaaah? I don't like the purple much at all.... but I will probably keep the green/purple/white on mine, as it is original, and I know people like original paint jobs...

god... I hate the purple wheels.... next bike WILL be black, except it is harder to keep clean
