Finding OEM parts - great site

    Came across this place:

    http://www.yamahaoftroy.com

There's a microfiche with all parts diagrams and listings below them with the OEM part numbers:

    http://www.yamahaoftroy.com/fiche_select.asp

This is especially useful if you want to get the OEM parts you need from, say, Australia, and thus avoid massively higher prices and usually longer wait time often associated with getting them from the NZ distributor.

I think that they only cover Honda, Yam and Suzuki.

Be aware that the part numbers on these things may not always agree with the part numbers the dealers use. This was certainly the case for the '86 Suzuki parts I needed. I had to view the dealers microfiche to get the current numbers.

    Similar sites are:

    Suzuki parts:

    Various makes:

If nothing else, the diagrams are good for working out what part goes where.
