    Who fell off on the Harbour Bridge? (9 November)

    Does anyone know who got blown off his/her bike on the harbour bridge this arvo at about 4.30 , hope the person concerned is O.K , my mate saw it and reckoned the rider was lucky to not get hit by cages behind him, he was on a ginny , anybody know?

    No, it wasn't him thankfully.

    He did say it was a bit hairy though. What's the wind at? 100ks?

    Haha definitely a nice breeze, you auckland guys have no idea. Bout time ya got a decent wind up there.

    Apparently in singapore 5knots is to windy for r/c model aircraft ppl, its like what 5 knots in NZ thats not gonna stop ya.

    Had some close ones tongiht...had a branch from a tree flung across the road at me, just ducked in time, and nearly got taken out by many bits of cardboard...and a few of those green recycling bins...was quite excillerating actually...at one stage when i was on a very exposed piece of road witht he wind hitting me side on, i was actaully riding with quite a bit of lean!...YEEHA

    Was a tad windy when I went over about the same time! Didn't see anyone bin it though.

    Made it a bit tricky lane splitting...

    ON the way to Paeroa one year and I was leaning rather heavily in to the strong wind and all of a sudden it went away, not because of a hedge but as Death was coming by one one wheel!

    Yep them was some strong winds today...first time I have ever felt like the bike was going to get away from me...
