they should be made to clean the track before you guys go on, surely theres someone must be accountable for a clean track before you start.

You're the one that told me that that crap was a result of 'drifting', I have (had) no reason to disbelieve you. To be honest, my major beef with drifting is that judged event aren't actually 'sport', that they leave crap on the track is just another good reason to hate on them.

Drifting on the street with a standard car is cool. But as a sport? Wasteful.

The shit brought onto the track that day was from guys drifting their std cars on days when no one is allowed to drift. When the drift guys go out to practice their SPORT they clean up after themselves.

If it requires a judge which is open to bias, bribes, whatever, then it's just another crappy old boys network piece of crap that should be told to fuck off.

You mean like stunt riding? And FMX?

On the non bike related (not)sports. Surfing, Freestyle anything, Snowboarding halfpipe, etc, etc.

I agree the drifters trucks watever, they can use the track they should not be botted for a sport they choose, remmember we can dump oil and everything else!
really aslong as all these sports agree to keeping the track in a good state, it would make better relationship between the two and we will all enjoy our motorsport!
Also its the car bike days that annoy me with the cirb hooping!

1-09's! on a Six-hundy That will be good to see.

Yep, the track condition (Manfeild) hasn't improved over the years, largely to do with wear and tear.
I also get ticked off with the Wannabe drifters dragging all manner of stuff onto the track. I am not a pro, and it is more good luck than good management that I actually get the line right all the time (or any of the time), so it is a little off putting to hit a slippery bit off line.
However, there is much more grip to be had than on your standard back road.

As for drifting being a sport, well I thought it was a technique used in the sport of Rally Driving, and Speedway driving.
