dumb, dumber, dumberest and...then that guy I felt naked when I tried riding around the block and did the following experiment ... always wore my lid natch

    a) Tried riding without gloves - felt naked
    b) Tried riding without the protective jacket - felt even more naked
    c) Tried riding without the armoured pants - felt naked
    d) Tried riding without the riding boots and only with sneakers - ditto

I only omitted one item at a time ... and it was damn uncomfortable, I dunno how those nifty fifty scooter riders can blat down the road with only a lid! I had enough road and gravel rash from my teen days riding a pushie!

I guess that squid will be a canidate for a Darwin award sometime soon!

lol I had to put my bike in the garage yesterday and the easiest way was to straddle it and 'ride' it in (no engine running). I was wearing open toed shoes and no gloves. It felt so wrong!! Next time I push my bike 6 ft thataway I'm going to put on all my gear first!

Meh, waaaay back I use to ride in: t-shirt, shorts, helmet, red-bands.

Never felt naked, not even at 130kph cruising speeds, ignorance is bliss....

Heehee, that was in the day when drinking, ciggies and not wearing crash gear wasn't known to be harmful - guess some rules shouldn't have been enforced!

He got off VERY lightly. A friend of mine came of a scooter at 80mph on the M8 in Glasgow wearing a pair of jeans. Lost about 80% of his right butt cheek - not just grazed.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
