Oh yeah, I totally agree. Me and my friend (Dreamer on KB) were talking about this the other day. Right now, me and her can enjoy our GSXR (Not an uncomfortable bike at all) or R6 (Maybe not so good..).
But one thing a cruiser rider told me, with a Suzuki C50T, that has stuck in my mind: Sitting completely upright isn't so good, hit a bump and the shock goes right up your back, a little bit of lean forward is good, comfort wise. Mind you, he probably spent enough time in tanks, standing around artillery in use and rebuilding APCs that his body is a bit shattered.
I think I'd stay away from the cruisers and be looking towards something of the style of the Yam FJ or Honda VFR when I get a bit older. Or as the number two bike for the holiday.
... and it is fabulous I love it!
Heard one with !open pipes! the other day. Was enough to convince me![]()
Had a bloke turn up at home the other day after picking this up from the Honda shop.............we all tried to get him to buy the suzuki but he wouldnt be swayed.............on reflection i still say we were right......damn this things ugly...........
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
Different strokes eh............the thing i like with the Suzuki is its modern looks where to me anyway the hondas look dated..even new ones....still i guess a lot of guys like the classic look........
