    Dollar/Licence saving WARNING

Had a wee chat with mufti in woodcocks rd warkworth 3 weeks ago.
Minimum of 3 cars EVERY weekend, Peak rd.,s h 16, woodcocks ( 3 cars in there alone etc.
would have been much cheaper to have the detector fitted instead of on bloody garage bench.
they are lovin it even have eagle on standby for the runner so fit all precautions and dont stop cos you think your jammer isnt workin.
mine was 28 days instant, 3 other guys that mornin at 160, a new kwaka at 250, wih the chopper, they are makin serious money out of us. the track is startin to look like the best option.

I guess if we all keep under the current policy benchmark of +10km/h tolerance around those areas, then they will have to go do some work elsewhere as they won't have any productivity to show for sitting there all day apart from working on their right forearm tan.

The only reason they sit there is because bikers keep on riding those roads at huge speeds where fatals and other crashes have occurred in the past.

Simply put, if we want to do race-track speeds on public roads, then we are fair game for the Highway Patrol and other police patrols in the area.

It does concern me though that some officers may drive like a man possessed to catch a biker.... isn't that action unjustifiably dangerous given the relatively nature of the offence the seek to deal with? (It's not like the bike is stolen or you are a kidnapper on the run - they know its casual bikers out for a ride).

It would be interesting to see what would come of a PCA (Police Complaints Authority) investigation in the event they are seen driving their patrols at ridiculous speeds thus creating a hazard for drivers/other riders merely to catch up to a speeder and take their licence.

I guess the obvious rebuttal is to 'avoid a crash' - but is that enough to justify the such high risk driving practices I wonder?

At the end of the day, their mere presence slows me down. So they are doing a good job of lessening the risk of my crashing at high speed any time soon. Albeit a bit of a killjoy!

What happened to the KB credo where you can tell a cop car at 800 metres, the radar detector would pick out a cop car within 2km and your jammer would jam every radar within 8 counties???

    Mwahahahahaaah!!!!!!! Reality sucks eh???
