I had a high density sheepskin on mine for a while. It was better than the stock seat but light years away from the re-foamed Rider jobbie. And when it used to get soggy, it was downright disgusting!

Upgraded from a 97 blackbird to a 02 Hayabusa, never looked back, the gsx has a better riding position, better handling, better everything, in my opinion...........but it depends your riding style.

The blackbird was a nice bike thou.It had more of a upright riding position,
but I found that it made low and mid speed cornering a little weird.
Was good for two up, and a nice tourer.

My choice would be to check out another gsx , but it's not my choice!

If your happy with a bird, enjoy.

How does the Blackbird compare to it's predecessor, the CBR1000F? I believe that the 1000F ceased production in '95 and the Blackbird took over in '96.
