Two Stroke, the pinnacle of engine design
Hey oyster, what the hell is a kohler 150? I thought they made industrial/lawnmower engines? You haven't put one in a bike frame have you?
Got any pictures?
Yep, a Kohler is an industrial engine. You're half right, I mean 2 times right, I didn't mount it in a bike frame. It's actually in a mike frame. Bikes have two wheels, mikes have one of course. So it's half what you think, easy to park but rather slow. It took me two and half hours to ride from the Poolburn pub down the Ida valley to the Brass Monkey in 1992. The only problem was the cooling air got sucked in across my left foot, which froze, while the one on the other side got cooked. A flawed design, so it remains my one and only American bike I mean mike
I could scan a photo and send to you or the site. Give me an e-mail address.
once an engine is stripped balancing does not cost a lot
Bob Mead is the man in Auckland for it, has balanced several of my bikes in the past and done an excellent job
