    Relationship advice needed...

My darling RZ is a joy to behold, but of late, I have found my eye wandering.

I feel it is the 7 week itch - although she sates my appetite from time to time, I feel myself needing more than catering to her whim, and spending all my non-existant dosh on things that she feels she needs done.

There is another model... it pains me to say this, it's... it's... it's the GN250... she's gorgeous.

I'll come out and say it.

    I WANT ONE!

But Mrs Fort Bloody Knox says I can't have one...

...how can I satisfy my lust, when the only two wheeled mistress I have no longer fires me as much as I fire her?

Take one for a ride first then try and say that sentence again............ you'd be mad getting off a classic like the RZ250 to a GN250.

Perhaps... but she lacks love and respect for me... I can't live a lie...

Although, in saying that, she's a typical bloody woman really - eats the money that I have to beg from me biological missus, and keeps making herself unavailable whenever I wanna ride her...

Dammit, I need a nympho bike, or I'm gonna have to gay up!

Wise woman. Ignore her at your peril.
By all means look at changing bikes, but (almost) anything other than a GN. Please. Promise us all you won't do it.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah but the majority of GN's are made in China these days and are not up to standard, shiny now - rusty later...

GN's a great bike - bastards last forever and new ones are cheaper that an old GB400! I bet 25% of the riders on here started on one or their mates.

Having said that you are the first person I have ever heard of lusting over one...........

.................It appears I have nothing to say about that....

If you afford the $$$$ the next best thing for you to lust over would be a Hyosung Aquila 250 I assume you like your cruisers..........

Okay... so perhaps *lust* is the wrong word... infatuated?

Hmm, i'd stay away from the GN250's for the quality issues allready mentioned. Not familiar with the Hyosung pictured above, tho it looks the part. My suggestion for a 250 cruiser, based on experience, would be for a Yamaha Virago XV250 or XV250S (being slightly more stylish). They have plenty of poke for 250 cruiser, the advantage of the torque produced by a V-twin engine configuration, are loads of fun to ride, and the seat height is low enough for most women should your wife take an interest in learning to ride.

Just think, then she could have the Virago and you could trade up

'infatuated'. Is that the technical term for someone who has 'cracked a fat'? ... (as we used to say back in the old days.)

Yes they do look 'shiny'....all new bikes do. Colapop is pretty close to the mark on what he said. I had one, and yes, a little bit of surface rust started to show, not long after i got it, didnt really bother me, as i had my eye on bigger things within' a short space of time. In saying that, the GN did its job for me, i sold it for $400 less than the retail price after about 12 months. So they have a great resale value, better than the Hyosung cruiser thing i would say
