    Anyway, the bombot turned up. The guy controlling it made the thing look really nervous, not very fluid thats for sure. So they shot the box, it flew off the bench and then the robot just kind of looked it, that was 10 minutes ago, the thing is still just looking at it. It may be a stash of porn.
    I took a picture on my phone, but its too far away to see anything clearly, so it will be on the news later I presume anyway

    NZ Police CommCens Alert 13:00 16-11-2006 Auckland City

    Location of incident: Shortland Street , Auckland

    Incident Type: Suspicious Package

    At about 1130am police were called to an unattended and suspicious looking case at the intersection of Shortland St and Bankside St, Auckland Central. Police cordoned the area off while the Defence force bomb squad checked the package. The case was detonated. Nothing dangerous was found in the case. Cordons were stood down at 1:40pm.

    To the best of my knowledge (Im not 100% sure) but aren't the bomb squad guys based in Wellington? Im sure its the same guys who train the recruits in Waiouru
