    Looking to buy a 125...

    Hi all

Im 15 and looking to buy a new bike after my CRF150, and will probably end up getting a 2002 CR125, but since im not yet that experienced in buying bikes, i thought it'd be a good idea to get some other peoples opinions first. So can you guys please give me a bit of advice about this, would the 02 CR125 be a good choice for a first 2 stroke, or should I try find a yamaha/kawasaki or whatever. So yeah just thoughts about 2002 cr125s and other 125s would be appreciated thanks

I think a 125 2 smoker would be a great first MX bike for a 15 year old. All the Japanese 125's are all proven performers and are all proven reliable. Take your pick.

I ve been riding motocross and trails for a while now and can safely vouch for any of the japanese 125's. They are all good. If you want something that steers on a dime ten go for the suzuki, if you want something that does everything well then its the yamaha YZ, if you want good build quality then it has to be the Honda CR. The kwaka is as good as any other. There are differences but they are so small that you might not even notice it while riding.
Its a pretty good decision you have made as far as owning a 2 stroke is concerned. It is better that you start riding 125 twanger as it will teach you the basics better than a 4 stroke.
hope the feedback helps . have fun and ride safe
