    kiwi x tyres

Are they worth the effort or is the normal idea of paying for quality the best action.

Has any one used them? its just the price is quite appealing at the moment.

They arn't the same as the one's at ardmore, i just paided $212 for a new front and rear tyres from cycletreads fitted and with new tubes.
(Kenda K771 Millville's) looks like heaps of grip, the tyres haven't touched the dirt yet , bikes still on the stand.
If you're just having fun on the bike like trail riding a cheap tyre will do as long as it has a good sharp edge, might not last as long, but at that price you could get two tyres for the price of a good one.

In my opinion the knobs are a bit too close together.I would just go pick up a pirelli as they are pretty cheap these days. and on the chain, i wouldnt be a tightass on such an inporant part of the bike.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I wasnt really planning on buying cheap crap for my bike, just trying to disern the quality of these against the quality of the known brands. Sometimes cheap stuff is ok, normally not the case though

just rember son, 50-150 bucks for better gear, could save you the extra dosh to get the cheap shit replaced and fix the damage caused by the shit gear.

Mitroc/Kiwi x are great tyres you will have no trouble with chunking ect my set lasted 1 1/2 years of on/off road abuse on the XR250 you could still do the worst of winter rides on them withot too much hastle (a S12 would be better tho) Payed $40 front-$60 rear

    Kiwi Cross

These dont work well and dont last.
Way better to fit BFG Crossengos which dont cost a lot less than 179 for set from Cycletreads.
Another good option is Kenda K771.
