Wanted Commuter between 100cc and 250cc

Just started my new job and not liking driving over the harbor bridge everyday, looking to get a bike, nothing too expensive (absolute max is probably $1,500).

    Thanks

Tight budget, but you should be able to get something suitable for that (have you allowed , if necessary, for helmet, gloves etc ?)

Some examples of Trademe at present

    Very good value

Do you have any wrenching skills, that simplifies things.

    Welcome to KB.

One assumes that you have your Learner's or Restricted or even your Full license already.... as that does help.

Do you also have your helmet and other protective riding gear?
As $1500 on bike and gear wont go that far.

I might have a 2001 RGV150 for sale, paints a little rough as it was painted with a spray can (makes the bike cheaper tho!!). Needs a bolt retapped for the exhaust manifold, doesn't leak and hasn't caused any problems so never got it fixed (wouldn't cost much if you were concerned). 22,xxx kms and goes well, the misses just wants to upgrade to a 250cc.

PM me if you are interested.

Thank you so much for your help, it is really appreciated I have gloves, a helmet and a jacket i can use.

About the wrenching skills i can use a manual but not that intuitive for knowing where things go...
