Sunday 19 November - Where Did You Ride Today and What Did You Practice?

Shortish ride yesterday, only 130km. Learnt that the food and coffee at the Rosetta Cafe at Raumati is still good. Then got two bikes washed, although there is some stuff on the FJR's fairing that looks like it will need a Steelo pad or something drastic to remove.

And Fish was wrong. It is possible to wheelie a shaftie.

Nearly didn't go out at all but ended up having one of the best rides in a long time. Stopped half way and had a beer at Warkworth then back on the bike. A couple of other 600's came along to set the pace. Saw quite a lot of other bikes in small groups having a great days fanging too.

I was in a cage heading south on the Auckland motoway on Sunday afternoon and saw someone drop a huge wheelie with a pillion. It was awesome, they were in the fast lane but I couldnt perve and cheer too much 'cos I was driving. I laughed like a madwoman. Don't know who it was but it was choice!

They were northbound so I wonder if it was some of You KB's heading back from Coro???
