Sould print and frame that 'beyond'......
The....'in the zone' part?..... not often that happens with me but on sunday things were feeling pretty good at times, except the ride from Kopu to Coromandel.... that sucked a tad for me, and there was one corner earlier (before Whangamata) 25 kph lefty?.... almost needed to use the indicator on that barstard.....

Are there any non-loonies riding on these rides, or is it that having a good fuel consumption is the only way I could keep in touch, being able to miss a couple of fuel stops?

Also does KB have a set of guideline for group riding.

PS on Sunday 5th Nov, coming back from Whitianga fishing trip, towing a boat, saw a couple of Hogs "parked' in the bushes at the end of a long set of scrape marks, on a tight bend. Looked like one took the other off, as well.
There's always a good cross section of riders on most KB rides and when we stop for lunch etc, there's always time to catch up. Don't feel you have to perform to join a ride. Always ride at whatever pace you are personally comfortable at. There are no set rules as most people ride their own ride.

You will probably find riders at around your own level and generally will find someone to ride with. If you've never done the Coro loop, find out from someone who has, before the ride, where the stop points are so that you can always catch up and mix with others. It's great meeting new faces and sharing experiences and that's what it's all about.

Never feel you have to prove anything as that's what will get you into trouble. I always tell people there will always be someone faster and someone slower. So what, enjoy yourself.

Sure, there will be faster riders but you can learn so much from them too and it's these sort of rides where you can pick up a lot of tips from listening and following other peoples lines.

Feel free to join a ride anytime.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
