The AA will come out and help you if you run outta petrol, or have a puncture, but then you have to sign up to be an AA member on the spot and it costs $100 or so because they don't give you any discounts when you sign up at the roadside. Good to know tho.

Tried that when I locked the keys inside once, 7 years ago, at a mall in Chch. They flatly refused to come help (a locksmith did it in 3 seconds though thank goodness). As far as I'm concerned the AA can go fuck themselves. SRA for teh win.

I have heard that said too many times. I personally would not waste my time or money on the AA.

AA have saved my arse on several occasions and been well worth the measly $1 or so a week it costs me to be a member.

Im with the AA... and I have had to go home on a tow truck 2 times (flat beds). once was from out westgate way (shattered CV on motorway, and lost steering *lucky*), all the way to Pakuranga!! and it only cost $20 and the AA cover the rest... another time when I blew up my previous car in the city, towed from city out east for $20... Locked my keys in my old ute a couple of times, they came out and 5secs later I was on my way again. No issues with the AA... I've been a member for 7 years and they've always saved my ass when I needed them to.

Yeah i do seem to share the sentiment mark, i will be pissed if he has buggered it, tho he paid good cash for it, so it is his right to do whatever he wants to it i suppose.

He is a pretty good dude actually, and i just hope he looks after the bike, or i will be buying it again...as a wreck...agiain. It is a sexy bike, and i hope he learns to ride it sweet.
