Just done Welly-Gizzy-Welly in my cage yesterday. And I have to agree with Ixion. Mostly GC's. But..one stupid cunt I was behind for a while was driving so thoughtlessly I decided not too pass and slowed down while it was raining. Coming into Napier a half hour later, this vehicle and another have just collided in the middle of a particularly ugly bridge just North of Napier-Taupo turnoff. One vehicle smashed up pretty bad (seemed to have hit the bridge) but no fatalities or mega injuries. I don't know who was in the wrong or what happened but I was pleased that I was nowhere near the prick that was in front of me.

Yea man i know what that was like! we must crossed paths at some point, i was heading from napier to paraparaumu and that middle section around palmy was not pleasant. Just be thankful the tropicalstorm stayed on the woodville side of the hills!

Had one scary moment, coming down a right hand sweeper (second corner after taking final turn towards levin) and the wind shot through just as the front end went over a water stream across the road., sending the front for a short wander outwards. On a good day its a relativly quick corner, and i was only doing about 75!

Shite, this is just down the road from my place if it's where im thinking, the bridge after the sweeping left hander that turns inland from the beach? and there a right hander afterwards??

Or is it the right handed corner bridge directly north of the taupo turn?

So that explains the endorsement on your license
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Argh, that bridge is a bastard, they need to fix where is meets the land, both wheel tracks drop down an inch or so and on the bike if you don't hit between them you get threatened with a potential tank slapper. Hope the people involved are ok
