    Triumph Thunderbird

    Know a guy thats looking at a 95 Triumph Thunderbird with 45k on the clock.Can someone give me an idea how many ks these motors are good for with regular services etc.

    I have 120,000km on mine. Motor still going strong. Good compression.
    Have broken the gearbox and 2 starter sprag clutches early on. Last 80,000km trouble fee.
    It's over at motohaus now having a re-fit and carb rebuild and I expect it would do another 100,000.
    Replace the cam tensioner blades evry 60,000 is good management too.
