    Well Crashe came over this morning to give me some advice on riding my new baby I thought I might have some practice braking in the drive way...Well no out on the road down the cul de sac ..I am thinking my god please help I have no idea what I am doing so off we go slow pace all good starting to get the hang of the throttle braking problem I have...Right says crashe you are going to go into second gear faster?Well to cut a long story short after an hour I was in fourth and feeling like the cats whiskers(not sure where that expression comes from)Zooming to the top of the road (40 is zooming isnt it?)Crashe showed me a basic hill start and turning my bike using the gradient of the road AND watching for obstacles hmmmm what car with its door open? (I missed it but did not recall seeing it)Big loves and hugs to crashe for giving me assistance I had a cool learning ride.

    Well what can I say...... Julie did brilliantly....
    All the neighbours came out to watch and were giving the thumbs up....
    Nope Julie missed them all, never saw a thing. Too busy concentrating.
    Even her daughter joined in by riding up and down the footpath giving encouragement. Her son is eyeing up the bike when he is old enough, he hung over the deck to watch as well.

    She got the grasp of the throttle/brake thing within moments...
    Got over the little bunnyhops as well.

    I yelled out look out for obstructions around you... as she was about to pass the white car with its door open.... and then asked her when we stopped what they were....
    NONE.....
    errrrr what about the car with the door open.
    What car?
    Ummmm the one down on the road.....
    Ohhhhh where?
    There, see the white car
    Oh no never saw it.

    Lesson learnt fast after that.... hehehehe

    Keep up the practise julie...... and happy to help out any day... just txt me.......

    soon you will be out riding on the Thursday night rides with us...
    I will be TEC on that night to be there with you.

    Hi all well I went out round the street again today and I can get right round the cul de sac in second no stops.I practiced my hill starts and obstacle observation.... bloody neighbours rat bags ready to throw a ball in front of me ...nice kids So I had to ask them not to do that please....YOU DO THAT AGAIN AND I WILL COME OVER THERE AND RIP YOUR HEAD OFFl I like my baby I am having fun practising.My friends are amazed and inspired

    hehe, cul desac's are great to learn on!
    im one of 3 brothers that learnt on one in the passed 12 years,
    the st new i had turned 15 when they saw the old blue honda start coming out again every day after school,
    backn fourth up the road.
