It's not so much the corner coming up - it's the drop off and the bike unweighting,it puts the shits up you.Sounds easy to say just flip it over and do the nice down hill cambered right, that sorts it out....but the oh fuck moment takes over. When this road is fully sealed and the sports bikes hit it in force I expect we will hear a lot more about this corner....

I came home from the Burt Munro Challenge on Sunday...had an interesting dice with a Honda Integra but had to take things easy on some bends close to home. Great bends but cages and trucks kick stones up on to the crucial parts of the road so I always tread warily there. Good ending to a fabulous weekend!

Rode back to Auckland on Sunday 26/11/06 after having done the Coro Loop and down to Whakatane on Friday 25/11/06 and East Cape Loop Saturday 26/11/06.

Started in Whakatane for the trip back to Auckland then went: Kawerau-Okere Falls and back side of Lake Rotorua - Otaroa Rd - Matamata - Morrinsville - Tahuna - Auckland.

Three of us on the road and we were so farken and that we practiced different ways of staying so that we wouldnt and have a farken
