    Good and bad, I guess...

Last night our builder came around to the new place we are taking ownership of on Friday.
I was showing him some jobs I wanted done next week, and he was giving me a few basic prices.

He's a guy who used to ride some years back, only about 10 or so, and when we talk the subject usually gets to bikes etc.
He's been saying for for a while now he wants another bike.

So, anyway,...he gives me some prices and alls well, but then he says...........I'll take your VTR1000 and knock what you want for that, off the bill.........
    So I said yes.

I wont have time to hit the road from now till about mid January anyway, and in theory.........thats when my new Speed Triple arrives, so I thought...'what the hell'.
And I dont have to go thru the hassle of selling a bike and all the bullshit that entails with it.

So I think its all's well, that ends well.........I think.
The bike will stay with me till mid January, so hopefully I might have to make sure it all works, before he takes it, but then again, theres that fate temptation.
    Hmmm.........

Nope, I gave him every option to re-think, he checked it all out again, and did'nt quibble about what I wanted.
I also do his mechanical work on his vehicles, so have known him a while.
I even gave him a jacket that is too big for me now, and he was rapt.
TBH, I dont think he has a licence either. Think he never reknewed the bike one when they had to be redone years ago.
But, I hear where you're coming from though.

I better make sure he finishes all the work before he takes it though.........don't want him binning it in his new found enthusism.
