Went to Puke today to watch the bike racing, did anybody else see on the start off the warm up lap, the rider showing off doing a stand up wheelie, lost control and crashed.

Ohhhh BUGGER
Yep. It looked impressive as he was leaning it to go round the corner up to the point he fell off.
I heard the ambulance dropped him off at the pits, so hopefully he isn't too sore.
oh will not all wheelies go perfect, hope hes ok.
Hope he is ok, and gets the wheeilie landed the way he wants next time!
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
Anyone know who it was?
mmm not sure if I should post his name, needless to say he is VERY well known... especially for stuff like that... and yes, the warm up lap. He got a broken finger I *think*.
Imagine our surprise down at the hairpin, we hear over the radio that the guys are coming out, next second, we get told "Red Flag"Pity... he was impressing us down at the hairpin, with the swingarm chattering almost every time, then wheelie'ing out, on the in lap

down the back straight, pissing around doing wheelies while the race was on!
He needs his bloody head read
How fast was he going & where did he fall off??
That man is USUALLY very skilled at his wheelies and stoppies!
maybe he might say what went wrong?
saw another one of his rolling stoppies thru the dummy grid bout lunch time
Man has skills just dont know why he plays that way at the track!
Mum sure didnt sound too happy!
RIDE THE ROAD....RACE THE TRACK.....DRAG THE STRIP......NODMAN....retired(now whose happy?)
that rolling stoppie was pretty impressive... as was the wheelie he did on the previous races warmup lap, couldnt be outdone by a 16yr old on a pitbike but it looks like on this day he was!

where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Oh - just Lance!
Good to see he's back racing after his nasty off at Wanganui......obviously needs more wheely practice by the sound of it......
“- He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.”
