    Albany to Whangarei 25.11.06

Heading for my first big ride after work. So if any of you see a brave red GN struggling under a lumpy person with a safety vest, white helmet and L plate, give me the fingers as you roar past and I'll know it's a KB'er!

    Hee hee
    Can't wait

Back home safe and sound, what a blast. Took me ages but it was really fun. Never enjoyed the Brynderwyns so much before! Traffic was light and really nice, gave me heaps of room, coming home today a couple passed too close for comfort but otherwise all was well. I'm really glad I did it because this afternoon I felt a lot more confident as I was riding through Auckland City and suburbs. Not 'I'm so hot' cocky confidence, but more like 'I belong on the road too' confidence.

I should be able to make that ride on the 3rd too Jim, not working on that day so far. Looking forward to it!

    Cheers
