Well, what can you say? I was taken for words when I heard about the tragic news. I hope Jill is keeping you good company til the rest of the ratbags come up and flood the ward....... imagine what the nurses will think with all the bikers in their leathers turning up eh? Best wishes Paul, from Steve and myself. If there is anything we can do, just let us know. Im pretty sure everyone on KB will be thinking about you and would wish a speedy recovery.

Man, can't believe it. Another biker claimed by puke. How many more before something is done about it.

My thoughts are with you both.

Hi Bob, I met you in Murchison once. It was really bloody hot.

Sounds like you are staying positive, but here is a story I thought I might share with you anyway.

So this guy I know, let's call him name is Claus, was a psych nurse and was at some doctors conference in some.. place where you have conferences.

Anyway, Claus was climbing the stairs, and a whole ruckus of doctors were coming down the stairs and they all collided, sending Claus for a tumble down the stairs, and in the ensueing mess, one of the doctors trod on his neck and broke it. 'Kerrsnap'.

I think it was all respirators and shit for awhile, and then the 'you'll never walk or wipe your own arse again'. Now Claus in a previous life was ex Army (And fuckoff hard too..) and told the doctors to go away with that attitude. That would be the sorta yella-bellied attitude that would loose you a flying lead fight.

Anyway, yes, it did take years, but you wouldn't know his neck had been broken. He walks around as good as any body else his age, smokes like a train, talks crazy shit and is generally trouble for his suppliers like any other regular asshole.

Not saying you need to be an asshole though...

    Paul,

Vicky and I were both shocked and upset when we heard the news. Always enjoyed riding with you and shooting the shit at the pub. As with everyone else we will do whatever we can to help.

    Regards,

    Ben and Vicky.

I am stunned and absolutely gutted. I pm'd Jill - please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for either of you. I have such good memories of the ski trip - you are just an awesome guy, and a mate. You are on my mind, and I am here for either of you. I'll be there as soon as they open the doors mate.
