Actually, grilled lizard is not too bad. Better than cat, I reckon. But they're fun beasts, and you can tame them, sort of.

My kittens have names now too - we are calling the mother cat ''M'',the black and white kitten is Andy and the grey and white one is Kelvin (from Kelvinator because he likes the fridge) We seem to have lost one,the fluffy grey and white...I suspect he has been taken by one of the kids who was hanging around next door, they were playing with them and that kitten went through the fence, never to come back.We can't prove anything, just have to hope he has gone to a loving home....slim chance down here.So we are taking extra care with the two remaining kittens.M has been spayed, and her stitches ruptured,so she had to be cut open again....not a good week for her losing a kitten and getting cut open again.Keep her quiet they say,so she jumps out the window, grrrr.I still want to keep M and Andy,I'm not sure if Kelvin will stay or go.

    Thumbs up My two girls

The tabby is Meshuggah, who will be 2 yo tomorrow.
The long haired cream and white one is Lucifer, who is 8 1/2 months old...and yes she sleeps stretched out on her back like that.

What me worry? Not a chance those cats are lucky to have a caring home - many children would be lucky to have the same.

Lane, your tabby looks a lot like Smooch, our 19 month-old tabby.

Yep, they will be spoilt rotten - Shelby was crying this morning so I sat on one of the lounge chairs and he immediately climbed on me and went to sleep! Andy (had to laugh that Motu has a kitten of the same name!) said last night "they waste a lot of time, don't they, I wanted to go to bed early but I couldn't" - that's right, those two have him wrapped around their little spiky tails!

Cindy keeps the kittens until they are eight weeks by the sound of it but she let me have these ones at seven weeks because she knew I'd be home and they would be well looked after.

Smooch is coming around too, her and Shelby touched noses last night and this morning she was in their play tunnel when he jumped on top of it and boy, did she move! I think she likes them but doesn't quite know how to play with them yet.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Erm. . . Ours arrive just before Christmas. My wife already has plans for the cat gym & several toys.
It must be the season for it!

I am picking up a small, grey, ball of fluff of the Manx persuasion, this weekend. It's been going by the temporary name of "Lint" and is apparently MAD, which is a Manx trait ... or so I'm told.

Of course they own the place. Check out my quotes vv

OH, now other people are showing off their cats - only fair to show you all my furry furry....bundle of joy (ha - bet you thought I was going for a poor taste joke just there)...

Here's Morpheus "Emperor of the World"

PS - about the collar thing that Colapop raised - I think that it's FLEA collars that should not be put on kittens younger than 3 months. Definitely they can't be used on young cats. Same probably goes for the drop on stuff like Advantage on kittens under a certain age.

You're right, it used to be flea collars you couldn't put on cats under 6 months old.

They now make flea collars for kittens though. Check the packaging for directions.

Thanks. I think so - but I could be a tad biased....

Actually, I think almost all cats are cute. Definitely the ones that have been posted in this thread are!

(PS - this is not a challenge to visit www.mycathatesyou.com to find ugly cats. Or www.catsthatlooklikehitler.com neither.)

So I picked up our new kitten on Friday after work.

We got it free, due to a minor defect ... do you think we should be worried about the missing part???

Awww - cute! What are you going to name it?

I hope it is not aerodynamically challenged without its tail....
