    clutch cable?

Hey guys! I have just come back from my first ride on my '93 Lamborghini Blu with Repsol orange wheels CBR250RR which i bought yesterday for a bargain off a good keen dude (cheers James). Wow! it's a weapon in the hands of any newbie or experienced rider. So for now i'm taking it easy...lol

Anyway's I have noticed the clutch cable was freyed quite badly around steel stopper by the clutch handle and on attempting to tighten it slightly it snapped...luckily i wasn't riding when this happend. I ordered a new cable for $50 from Cyclespot. My question is how easy is it to D.I.Y on on putting a new cable on? Do I need to remove any fairings or the fueltank to get in there? Any tips? I have already been told to make sure the cable is not twisted at all before i put it on....

Cheers guys. Oh and if anyone would like to come for an ride with me please PM. I'm keen to get some experience with other riders and learn what i'm doing right / wrong...

Welcome to the site, not too knowledgable on the cable issue im afraid. As far as experience goes, check out the events section and join in on one of the rides...

Should be straight forward, you may have to remove one fairing but may not have to. Trace where the cable goes and then ya should know if ya need to or if ya need to remove stuff.

    Real easy to do thou.
