    Finally got the Full

Well thanks to N4CR who gave me the idea, i rang the 0800 number yesterday for the Driver Licencing and managed to get my date for the practical test changed from 14 Dec. to today
Just sat the test in Mt Wellington, and passed. It was a piece of piss, however i think the guy was pretty easy on me as well, he didn't really get too anal about anything at all.
So, now I will call the insurance company and get the GSXR insured and go out for a ride

I never thought this day would come, it is liek a major milestone for me...i can finally ride big bikes. However I will always have a soft spot for my little 250cc demon that taught me so well, and was so damn loyal. Once I have a few financial milestones out of the way, i want another zxr as well as a big bike !

Well done that man. Take it easy on the 600 eh. Unsure if you've ridden it much but for me going from 250 to 750 was probably too big a step. I am still getting used to the extra weight and power after 4 months...but the big grin on my face when I ride it is worth the restraint! Take care.

Yeah i have taken out for a decent ride once, found it easy to get used to and very very stable. I did many kms on the 250, and got to the point where i could ride it bloody hard, so i hope to adjust to the gixxer quite quickly, will have to see how it goes.

Congrats man, gotta be a good feeling

Still about a year before I can sit my full, but I'm looking forward to it already. Handy thing for me is I've got a four month distraction in England starting December 12th, and it'll be far too bloody cold to think about motorbikes most of the time. And by the time I get back it'll be getting pretty cold around here too, so the bike won't get ridden as much anyway... and before I know it the time will come for me to sit my full too
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.

    Solid Brett!

Know what ya mean about having a soft spot for the ol' 250's. I didn't wanna sell mine...so many good times, so many hidings, so reliable...but, I did...shows how loyal I am...after you've felt 100hp+, it's hard to be loyal.
