Just been building a seat extension for Jenni to use next weekend after the Clarence ride.
She intends going through from Hanmer to Nelson via the Molesworth on the back of the DR...
Got 2 different densities of foam, a sheepskin covering and built-in bungy straps for mounting...
Only going to be "after" pics as once I'd decided to build it it was done.

Looks like a sheep's sat on a possum.
If she rides on that you will know she is the one...
It's a lot better than the old offcut of foam that we've been using for the last few years...
I'll post up a pic of it on the bike soon...
Just worked it out...
24,000km in the last year on the '97 motor.
52,000km total on it.
The '01 motor let go at 56,000km.
