Nordie, I think someone else didn't look closely at the thread's first post date or your post count.

Na none of them looked like they were about to fall off.
I thought the HA had a harley only rule. Mind you I have a book at home about the life of Sonny Barga who started the HA and he states that he didn't actually like harleys and thought they woulda been betterer off and faster on Hondas.

Hey that's a bit rought. Put a white front guard on it and paint the frame a similar purple and you've got my old DR. Purple, yellow and white DR's are the best ones. I even got a gold chain and purple chain gang sprocket for it.

I've got a chunk of '97 white front guard on the bottom of my front guard

The purple frame with white rear guard and half a front guard is sitting in the shed minding it's own business.

Just got a set of front and rear GoldFren brakepads installed.
The old ones (rear from the '97 bike and front from Warewolf) were getting a bit thin.
    The fronts lasted about 45,000km.

I'll find out tomorrow how the new ones feel

    Had a scary moment today.

Was heading to Cycletreads and passed a cop at the roundabout who followed me...
I'm thinking he's seen my number plate mounted directly to the rear guard...

Pulls up beside me around the back of Cycletreads for a chat...

About my aftermarket seat. He can't stand his stock one

Sometimes we forget, Cops are human too, though some have their doubts about Scummy... He has an unusual rep...

Haha...I've had my not quite stock number plate mounting thing going on for a while now, and no problems. Kind of coincides with the 'not quite regestered' bit nicely.

yeah mine (OEM) look like they'll get to that. Dunno what you use in your beastie Woodman but you seem to go through them pretty fast.
    Cheers,
