Will try and find out - but in the $200-$250 range I guess. Will get Clive to investigate unless you have a better idea?

I've heard $300+ but will wait and see. I'm keen as to try one of these as they are apparently the only semi agressive knoblie that lasts more than a little bit under a 950.

Wow that's pricey. Almost as much as a TKC80 in 150 section.

I tried the 705's at 20f/20r and they went well. Next test is 18 in the rear...

I'm definitely going for a 130 next time. Normal use for a day with the 120 and no chicken strip at all.

Been round for ages. The D603 looks like a more interesting one. Basically a more open D605 but not quite as open as a D606. Dont think they are brought into NZ though.

Best pic but too big for this site - wet bus ticket territory!!! http://takaj.blogdns.com/share/image...050925_002.jpg

Valve clearances checked, spark plugs cleaned, air filter done...

1 tight inlet and 1 tight exhaust but still within spec.
Replaced valve inspection caps with spares and good o-rings as the old o-rings were very old and not so good at the "stop the oil from going past" bit...

Cleaned up the spark plugs with the wire wheel and put them back in (3 years old now).

The leak on the head is from the cam cover just above the spark plugs. I've smeared a bit of gasket maker along the join to see if that helps in the meantime.

A little help guys! I can't get a new air filter for my XL250 in NZ (it's an L shape as the battery sits over the top of the air box) so have had to buy some No-Toil foam filter material. Going to cut out the paper from the plastic frame and fit it but not to sure what glue to use. Ive got a glue gun and hot glue, some silicon sealant or some black silastic gasket silicon. What would you guys recommend? Also how do you go about oiling it? I don't know how it's going to affect the performance as someone has already put a homemade exhaust can on it as well. How can you tell if it's too lean or rich? spark plug? I am venturing into new territory here.

Rubber cement (tixotrope) should be the stuff but No-Toil should have a recommended glue.

It'll be difficult to oil/clean it if you can't remove it from the frame.

Put the knobblies on for tomorrow and the front wheel has a bearing on the way out

So I pulled the new E705 off the road rim and put the MT21 on that.

Clean oil filter, oil change, dirt seat, dirt panels, dirt tyres...

Doesn't really indicate how long it actually took either

It's amazing how fast that clock moves when you want to see how long it takes yo to change a tyre.
Changing my rear I thought I had done it in about 10mins - the clock showed 25mins - I got rid of it -dang thing must be busted.
