....wherezz that track go
A couple of years ago I made a number plate light for the KLR in a similar fashion - strip of teflon chopping board and 8 white LEDs from DSE, the ones with the resistor for 12v. Mounts under the carrier rack, works great. Never been questioned at WOF time
Even after considerable bashing and crashing, only 2 of the LEDs have failed.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

But they're all white???
In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
Replaced the $150 RK EXW chain (14,000km) today with an $80 EK o-ring jobbie.
Not bad being able to do chain and sprockets for $150
The rear brake side bearing was a bit notchy (12,000km) so I mounted the new Shinko 705 on the dirt wheel that's got good bearings (got the TT for that stuff now) and even though the E07 has about 1,000km left in it, as I had the rest apart, I thought I'd might as well change that out too as it was getting a bit square.
My $10 TradeMe E07 did me for 10,000km![]()
New tyres are nice![]()
New helmet cameras are nice too![]()

Bollocks, get of your arse and go get it
Just checked the TT350 noise levels.
50cm back, 50cm to the side @ 1500rpm = 87dB![]()

Aussie (NSW) road regs used to be 1m back from and in line with the tailpipe exit, engine at 50% of max power revs (ie not 50% of redline). Would be interesting to see the rule for here.
One of the reasons to have twin mufflers is that the noise meter cannot be in two places at once![]()
