    Gaerne SG10.

Very flexible fore and aft with the ankle pivots.
Memory foam around the foot and ankle.

My Oxtar/TCX Infinities are more comfortable, more rubbery sole, GoreTex, but only toe cup and shin protection and no metal shank for standing on the pegs.

Wouldn't want to buy a pair new though...

Mine are the size 46 ($694) at CycleTreads

    SG12's are $1,100NZ

I have a pair of Gaerne MX boots which I really like - they're the most comfortable MX boots I've ever owned.

But for adventure riding my Alpinestars Scout Drystar are fanatastic!
    Waterproof and very very comfortable...

Oh, right, they look the part. Didn't get them from Gene Simmons did you? I've had good runs from several flavours of Gaernes and, as I've torn all sorts of shit inside both ankles several times I should probably be looking at something similar. Still keen on a pair of those oiled Gaerne Balance jobs though, but they seem to have become scarce hereabouts...

Did you know that a few streets away from me in a entranceway to a house there is the rest of the Stormtrooper outfit they came with.
I'm gonna have to borrow it one day.

Why do you need the plastic bits to fall backwards like that? Easier to get off when you pick up a hot young stud & bring hom home?

Is a good idea, I've got some of these: http://www.motozone.co.nz/products/a...andguards.aspx on the way, for the Buell. And the terminally kitsch LED strip as a side order. Not sure yet wether to make them do the blinky thing.

Just saw the same 3w DRL's on TradeMe for $20nz a pair. $8 courier.

    From AliExpress, they're $5.30us a pair and $3.98us a pair for 10pairs. Free shipping.

Even at 6v they're quite good.

Cool, might order some for my LC4 head dining table light. The 1157 4x LED bulbs I got at considerable expense have mostly crapped out. What is the diameter of the threaded bit? Got a link to item on Aliexpress?

    Cheers
