    Bolt holes are good.
Looks like it's the bushes and/or bolts themselves.
At least these bearings are able to be bought cheaper. They're the same as the CRF230 ones.

Had the shoes for a loooong time. Still working well.

Heroes aren't awesome; they are faaaabulous.
Wait for the videos of Nordie riding through dense thickets of gorse wearing a sparkly miniskirt
The road to hell is paved...

Getting the buggers paired up was a mission in itself!

Got some velcro so I can mount it up to the GPS RAM arm and will test tomorrow...

Where's the :superhero: smiley when you need it?

I am really looking forward to this. I'm still wading through 3hrs of gorse footage from the last ride that would have been 1hr if I'd had a remote...

    No sparkles required.

Anyway, Woodman had them on his KLR tank...

I've stepped up and taken a leaf out of the Padmei book of motorcycle maintenance...

EddieB's old tanks's fuel tap was leaking even in the off position, so I added another fuel tap in-line...
I'm not fixing it until there's 18L less fuel in there...

Then I can check the float needle in the FCR too...

mmmm, I hadn't had any problem with that, though in saying that it hadn't been in anything but the on position for a long time. I rarely get into reserve.

I turn it off every time I stop.
The float needle I noticed after filling the bike up, as it was dripping out the overflow every 10s or so. Which was weird as I thought I'd turned the tap off. Oops, I had...

All I know is it worked when we were swapping the tanks over, 'cause I remember the fuel line coming off my old one when we were transferring fuel and I got covered

    Not really.
There's a strap you can put around your arm though.

    I made mine...

    Double sided velcro.

    Survives the gorse OK.

I strap it to the GPS RAM mount usually although if there was room, I'd prefer it on the throttle side as I'm usually holding the clutch in with the left hand.

Before cool sections, I'll stop, turn the remote on and have a drink whilst waiting for the GoPro to turn on (can be up to 30s) and then turn it off after the section.
Using pause, only when in a series of shorter sections I want recorded.

thanks for that. looking at your pics I think I can make up a mount to fix it on the bars ok. I need to get a chest mount as well for trials riding as the helmet cam it too high to get the front of the bike in the shot, which makes the footage a tad boring...although the best shots are still the ones where you get the whole bike in....much more interesting to watch when things go pear shaped
