    Yeah it's getting there

I'll have to start another one over in the off-road thread for my XR rebuilds.

    Helmet

Finally got me a "proper" adventure helmet.

    It's a Zeus 2100B titanium colour and cost $199.
    I like it so far...

For slower stuff and day to day use the Oxford open face will still be my favorite though.

    Nelson Motorcycle Centre.

Also had another toy arrive today

Mountainbike suspension bushes and DR carb spring/needle retainer are the first projects.

    Toys are fun

PS: Anyone know how to use one of these? I'm just guessing.

    Exhausting work this...

Got a surprise little courier package from the States today.
    A Hindle mid pipe...

To attach to the $60 GSXR600 can off TradeMe...

The midpipe is soooo light it isn't funny.
'Specially as it cost $30US postage

It's quite a bit lighter than the stocker even though it's alloy and not the titanium GSXR1000 pipe.

The holes in the ends are a bit bigger too

    Mount it up...

Getting it mounted properly next week.

    But...
    BEFORE and AFTER...

It's nice and deep. No real "bark" to it like most after market pipes and at speed it's apparantly still quite mellow.
Pushes about 94dB according to mx_rob's meter.

Have you seen the thread about factory exhaust or certification test sticker. Little bit concerned about this but don't have to test the water till Febish (I think).

It is factory. For a Suzuki mumble mumble.
Well under 100dB and has "Suzuki" on the side of it

Nice helmet and good price. Might have to invest in one for road/easy riding. Like the colour, but are there any other colours?

Who did you purchase it from? I've got a Micron can just begging to be fitted to the KLR but needs a mid pipe (and a few other things but the pipe is the main one)
    Thanks
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

From someone in the States who has just got a TwoBrothers midpipe (easier to fit than the Hindle).
