It's been dry enough here to create dust but this week's heavy downpour will have changed that. I see Nelson had 100 + mm so yip mudwrestling. I hope you have an aggressive rear tyre, if not get the grinder onto it now. I houred out of a recent enduro because the brand new tyre's knobs were too close together and it didn't shed mud. I took revenge by cutting every 2nd knob off. Take that Barum.

A hippy bus just pulled up outside.
There's a boy racer exhaust out the side and it sounds like a V8 under the hood...

Got a new 6v battery today but couldn't unbolt the old one from the holder.

    Let's see if a $20 R/C 7.2v 2A/h nicad will work...

Wrapped in 3mm camping mattress type foam and a bit of ice-cream lid on the inside against the metalwork.

The blinkers and horn now work!
Wonder how it'll handle the charging system...

    The fence is 3m high...

Each one is the size of a dinner plate.
We just cooked up a Paua for Christmas rather than a roast.

Only got the blinkers working at the moment as the high beam and neutral leds need rectification.

It's going to be sooo cool to be able to see if you've left the blinkers on.

I can see this becoming standard on bikes in the future.

    Yeah baby

    Running 12v led's at 6v is a success!

Battery is fused so safe should something in my dodgy wiring short out.

let me be the first to congrtaulate you on this momentous melding of mismatched molecular engineering.....for safety sake though you might need to wear welding goggles when you indicate to avoid being flash blinded by those bright little LED suckers

Yeah, I've masked over half the highbeam led on the DR. It was ruining my night vision.

In fact the light leakage around the TT headlight surround isn't so good on the eyes when they need all the help they can get.
