we'll you've heard it from the man now, i know that some guys in the US have managed 135hp at the wheel from the new R6, but thats far from stock standard.

For sure its a mint bike, lots of good bits on it although he obviously doesn't know how to list it. From what I can tell it has a 520 chain/sprockets conversion, frame sliders, Full yoshi system, Possibly a fork kit and braided lines etc.
Wether its worth $10800 is debateable, as you could buy a K1/K2 Thou for that and kick its 140hp!!!!! in the weeds
I bet the dyno reading will never show though....it'll be a lot less than he expects.

apparently he'll have a "dino" reading for it next week.

maybe he's getting Barney to stop by and tell it a story.

hmm, they were going for a bout $11k this time last year, would have expected the price to drop a bit, but that it is a unique paintjob, and im sure that if he holds out someone will be stupid enough to pay that price.

Fixed up after a slight spill. Check out the photos.

My mate bought it off Rick McKay at the end of last year and my flat mate got hit by a car on it. Insurance company wrote it off. If anyones interested he still has the dyno print out for it and a list of the fruits that it had when Rick sold it.

Most of the damage looks superficial, what sort of quotes were given to fix it?

Looks like the guy has done a decent job of tidying it up. I know I'd want full payout in an accident like that, but insurance companies aren't known for taking the expensive option.

Think hes still looking for the print out. he thought he still had it when I showed him the thread the other night.

Was quoted 20K worth of damage. From Road and Sport. Not to sure how stoked he would be if i put the whole to be fixed list on here but i'll ask him. It includes Main frame and swing arm. In reality how damaged they were i'm not entirly sure. It would have taken a bit of a beating in how the car hit the bike. If i remeber rightly it did look a bit skewif. I'm sure if you were to fix it your self it wouldnt come to that.

140hp?? Man he must've done some serious motor work since I owned this bike!

If i remember rightly on the Road and Sport Dyno it had 98.6HP at the rear wheel. I only fitted a full Yoshi Tri Oval system and K&N filter, it wasn't much quicker than a standard one....

300km? The 520 kit had smaller front sprocket so the speedo would read higher than actual, but still I don't think it showed over 280km on it...

I'm surprised to see it still on the road after that accident, he's done an alright job but left alot of the stickers off the front (it looks plain). The kit was a copy of the 2005 Suzuki Moto GP bikes at Laguna Seca (Mitsubishi was one of their sponsors).
