    Best weekend ever!

    Not too sure I've posted this in the right section so if not then oops, sorry!

    I just felt the need to tell everyone about the weekend I had. Probably one of the best I've had in my life so far.

    As some of you know, it was Mothers Day on Saturday where there were a selection of bikes and sidecars racing throughout the day. As most of you won't know, I'm doing up a sidecar outfit at the minute and will eventually be the monkey for it.

    So the guy that I'm working on it with sorted me out a ride on a classic sidecar with a Norton 850 engine. If any of you were there, it was the black and silver one where in the last race, the swinger, his daughter, fell off pretty badly.

    Well at the end of the day, the guy (Robert Hood) took me out and let me have a go at swinging and I didn't do too bad, not wanting to blow my own trumpet or whatever the phrase is. Well, I hung right out of the left hand bends after the 1st lap anyway. It's one of the best things I've ever done in my life. You have to be insanely fit though just to stay on the bugger, went round 3 times and was knackered by the end of it.

    My dad managed to snap a few pictures before we went out but was too busy helping another sidecar get going to take any while we were out which I'm pretty gutted about, oh well.

    As accurate a representation as possible of my hanging-off-ness:

    And then to top things off, on Sunday was my first track day and apart from a bit of grass tracking out of the hairpin, it couldn't have gone better for me. I'm still on a high, I have trouble sleeping at night hehe.

    So yeah, just thought I'd share that all with you, hope it wasn't too unexciting! I love this country!

    Whooah, cool stuff.
    That does look pretty crazy, lucky you for getting a go.
    I have always had respect for those crazy buggers that can do a whole bunch of races on those things.
    I can imagine what i would be hanging of one of those;
