    What year is this Arai?

seen this in turdme and I can't find a ref to what year it's from. The dude selling it reckons it's never been worn and was a present from Dec 04. Also reckons he can't find a build date on the inside.

    It's a Arai Astro

Looks like a Condor to me.

[edit] Looks like a 2004 Astral Star Flag Silver, which is/was known as the Condor Star Flag in other markets. Paid $1150 for my Star Flag Condor in blue in 2004

Go to this website and search the 2004 archive and go to Astral, Star Flag, Silver.

Arais have date codes on them, trying to remember if sticker on the back or labels inside or both.

A present?! - pull the other one. Who buys a $1100 helmet for someone who doesn't use it?

If it has the box & is clearly unused it was stolen from a shop, if it just looks new it isn't but was stolen in a burg.
Don't you look at my accountant.

So his Aunty is a Dealer? the plot thickens, - associates with known Criminals, she probably sells P to little kiddies.
-oh, not that kind of dealer. . .

    Well I believe his story

So it only cost her say $700, when did your aunt last buy your mum a $700 present she didn't ask for or want.
& as a woman she would never have bought another woman a size above XS. There probably isn't a woman in the world who would take a Large helmet.

Yeah I once got from my stepmother when they returned from Raro or Fiji or somewhere a shiny silver jacket with Porsche (some sort of stretched VW I understand) written down the side.

I mean c’mon. Silver? But more so I was into bikes bikes bikes. Why buy me something with a car written on it?
    Oh the scarring. . .
