Like everyone else I am speechless and shocked at the news that these 2 guys have fallen. I only knew them briefly, but as everyone who knew them better, they were a great couple of guys and exceedingly talented on there bikes.

Condolences to their families and friends

Got back from Coromandel 10 minutes ago to read this terrible, terrible news. Completely choked at the loss, even though I hadn't met either of them.

    Sincerest condolences to both families.

Cripes - I just got back from a nice day out from the 250 ride, I was thinking "no-one binned, everyone had a great time - what a great day it's been". And now this... I can actually put a face to the name since I had met loosebruce in person...again, we are reminded of the fragile thread that connects us to the physical world. Ride safely everyone and condolences to family, friends and all those who had contact with them.

I considered Bruce a friend, which means I cared (a lot) and more than that I respected him more than a lot of other people. I was shattered when I got the news, and still am, so I can only imagine how his close friends and family must feel. My deepest and sincerest sympathies for your loss.

For those who did not know him Bruce was only one thing, and thats a great man... in every way.

I will miss you my friend, see you one day in the restaurant in the sky with a big plate of seafood like the day we met

I did not know Darryl very well, but my deepest condolences to his family.

Its a very sad time for all.

Did not know either Bruce or Darryl, but from what i heard yesterday and have read on here today, i do know that both these guy's will be Huge loss to KB and motorcycling. Their lives were cut short by a freak accident while they were doing what they/we love doing....riding bikes!
We charged our drinks to Bruce and Darrly last night at a KB party and i hope that everyone will never forget that these guys played a massive part in alot of peoples lives, go hard guys...wherever you may be....

So sad.... I had not had the chance to know either of you but based on the respect folks here have for you both - I think I was the poorer for that. RIP guys - Go in peace.

Just last week I was reving Bruce up for teaching my puppy bad habits and teasing him about his gay leathers. Then yesterday Bruce died in my arms. With a great team of people we pulled out all the stops to try and save Darryl. With the passion he showed for life, he fought like a trouper, but alas it was not to be.

My daughter is gunna miss your "noogie fights" Bruce, and my puppy is gunna miss playing tug of war. Our flatmate is gunna miss painting the endless bike parts you supplied. I guess now we won't need to build that revolving door on the garage for your bike mate. Andy is gunna miss his little prodigee in the shed.

There was not a dry eye on the side of that road yesterday. It takes two pretty special guys to touch so many hearts so deeply. My heart is breaking for Andy, Nikki, Brett, the kb family, the riders present, the millions of colleagues and friends, and the families of Bruce & Darryl.

    RIP TEAM MUPPET!
