Can't believe it. I was at a wedding when my phone went. And I dont know what to say. They will be greatly missed. I didn't meet Darryl but knew Bruce from the rides and now they are gone My heart is with their families friends and everyone who knew them.

Although we are far apart our spirits share the same earth under the same sky.

    They will never be forgotton.

My heart's in my throat. RIP fellas, never officially met ya Darryl, but you always came across as a genuine good bugger.

And Bruce, I'd met him for best of 3mins, and 3 months later, he still remembered my name and bike. Top fella. Will miss ya all.

I first met Bruce on a ride down 22, and was gobsmacked by the skill and also by the sense of humour, he made me feel welcome on one of my first KB rides. I spoke with him many times after that and he was always helpful, knowledgeable and funny. He earned my respect and appreciation in the first hour of knowing him, that is rare.
I only met Darryl once but he was such a loon he had me in stitches in no time.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of two fine guys, we are all poorer for this tragedy. Heartfelt sympathy and support to both their families.
    Respect

Condolences to all the loved ones and m8s who're affected. Its horrific, and so wrong - nobody should die like this. Wishing strength now and in times ahead specially to all those who might need it. I know you'll have much support from KB. Not a biker, didn't even know them but this is just a terrible thing and feeling very sorry about it. Its always the special ones.

There are no words that can express the sadness.
Any loss to the biker community is sad but to lose 2 from this site in one day has left me numb.
I only just found out by crusing the site.
Pretty sure I've met Bruce on a ride (If I recall he had a poke about how I was happy to stay behind the 250's), Darryls face looks familiar but I can't say I new either.
Based on the earlier parts of the thread Rest In Peace does not say it.
It feels like Ride In Peace, or even Ride In Perpetuity is more appropriate for these two.

To all kiwibikers: Keep the black bits down and the shiny side up!
To the Family I hope you find some comfort in how much your boys moved so many people.
