I cant believe this has happened. I rode along and saw Bruce and his mangled bike on the side of the road about 10 minutes after it happened. I am devistated he was a terrific guy. RIP mate I'll miss you.

Ah shit - this one hurts...

This is - bad. Bruce was a very nice guy. No - can that - he was a GREAT guy and this is indeed shocking stuff. The Wellington Motorcycle community - indeed Wellington fullstop has lost a true gentleman motorcyclist. One of the good bastards - It s become almost a cliche' now but when people say - a Mighty Totara has fallen in the Forset of Tane, this is what they are talking about...

    Sad.......

I can bearly see to type. Bruce was a shining example of what the KB community was all about. Always helping others, often giving up his ride to go and get a trailer to collect a broken bike. One of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet. And a damn good rider. I always enjoyed his company and he was "Uncle" to many newbie riders. Rest in Peace my friend.
My sincere condolences to his family.

This is more bad news, the start of summer has seen some gut wrenching reminders of how vulnerable bikers are on the road. I hope he is resting peacefully before deciding what part of the universe he will be riding to up there somewhere ... RIP and again, condolences to all those who knew him, and his nearest and dearest.

A black weekend indeed. The blackest I can recall. Things like this always hurt those that are left. But some hurt more than others. I met Bruce just the once in person, and a nicer guy you couldn't hope to meet. He will be sorely missed and will remain in the forefront of my memories for a long time.
    RIP my friend.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Any riders who were with him need the support for now, and first and foremost his partner and parents...

    Mrs busa pete

This has been a truely horriable weekend. Allthough i did not meet uncle b i have read many of his threads and a lot of them have been giving advice he sounded like an awsome bloke that had the respect of a lot of kb members down that way and further my thoughts and condolcances to family and freinds. Rest in peace.
