It hasn't completely sunk in and I'm a bit lost for words still. What a terrible thing. We'll really miss our Uncle.

Debbie - Bruce has been a part of so many of our 'riding lives' and leaves a huge hole in the Wgtn biking community (as you can see in these posts). We're thinking of you as well.

    OMG!!
    What a black weekend

I did not have the pleasure of meeting any of these riders, but after reading the posts I feel like I have missed meeting some of the most colourful and helpfull riders on KB.

    God Bless
    Scott & Carissa

Also to all the close friends, I know it is hard to comprehend at the moment, but share your thoughts with others and do what they would of wanted you to do.

Same here - to find this thread after the thread for Bruce and Darryl was a major shock.

Bruce (UncleB) was a great guy, and a friend to many.

    RIP.

RIP Bruce heres one for you

    Ride On Angels Wings
    .....
    Gone now but not forgotten
    Forever in our dreams
Everyday the Sun shines for you
    Everyday the roads are dry
    The straights go on forever
The bends are as you dream
    There are no more pains
    There are no more worries
You will be there at every party
You will take part in every race
You will stand there on the podium
You will race with the stars
you will ride upon Gods pillion
And if Angels ride on Harleys
Then you will surely travel far
On Earth You were My Brother
And now you are a Star
    so glide on heavens highway
And lead the train up front
One day you will be waiting
    And together we will ride
    Once more again as Brothers
The white line side by side

Like so many have said before, Bruce was one of the great people of this world.
This really is a wake up call and just goes to show how precious life is.

It has been said earlier that times like this bring into question a persons desire to ride, and I certainly had little desire for riding home this afternoon. But when I think of Bruce I can not imagine him wanting me/us to stop riding. He has taught so many here so much and while it may sound corny, he went out 'doing what he loved'. I am going to take this as his final lesson and I will be forever putting into practice his many words of wisdom.

    RIB Uncle B

I have no idea what to say... I haven't riden with Bruce since Stonechuckers accident but have spoken to him on several occassions. A lovely guy, heart of gold and a help to bikers in need of anything, from a lift home to mentoring.

    Gonna miss you Bruce. RIP.

    Unhappy

I have just read every post in here as I felt I needed to. I was not that far behind him when it happened, coming down the road to an obvious accident. I do not feel it is my place to say what happened as I did not see it. I will say though that he did not suffer. (if you know what I mean. Sorry never been the best with words and certainly do not want to offend)

We (about 4 or 5 of us) had stopped at the Mobil in Masterton for some fuel and then headed of to meet everyone else at castle point. Unfortunately we did not make it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Debbie and his family and friends. I think what everyone on here has said is right on the mark. He was/is (again the wording thing!) a top man and I always enjoyed catching up with him.

Seeing him at the starting line of the sprints (giving up his time so we could all have fun!!) again the other week, he always had something to say to make you laugh.

Stoney I'm soo sorry as I know how you were with him. I wanted to reply to your text but you had said not too.

If there is anything I can do for the family please let me know and it shall be done.

R.I.P Bruce I'll miss ya mate
