    Good bye old friend.

This weekend isnt happening. Im going to wake up tomorrow, and everythings going to be back the way it was.

We did a bike swap earlier today. I told him how easy his bike was to wheelie, and how it felt great with that work that had been done to his forks.
He really did have a sweet bike there

The last thing he ever said to me was that he trusted me and my riding.
After i said sorry for wheelying his bike in front of him. He didnt mind one bit.

We have all lost such a good friend, and the biking world has lost such a great biker and mentor. On and off the road.
Im lost for words. Its really only just hitting home now.

Good bye old friend. Your in my thoughts always.

Bruce was one of those guys I Immediately felt comfortable around.
When I got taken for a bit of a "riding lesson" by the welly fast crew It was him that hung back for me so i could follow his lines.
Him splitting his sides laughing when stonechucker got er stoned on the same ride was a great moment

Bruce, we have only spoken a handful of times, but that was more than enough to know how much of an all round nice guy I was talking to.
It was only yesterday at the summit you were giving me a ribbing about how my bike is so heavy compared to the Jap bikes because it was made from the steel of old melted down Chevrolets. All in good humour, I wasn't offended mate, you put a smile on my face for a while with that one.
Man, I didn't know that beep and wave you gave as we moved over to let you pass on the way back down was goodbye.
I'm gutted, my thoughts are with your family in this difficult time, and where ever you might be right now, be there in peace.

I don't often post on here, and I never met Bruce, but i am deeply saddened by this news. Its such a shame that such terrible things happen to such good people.

RIP, and sincerest condolences to friends and family.

I'm not sure what to make of this weekend other than I feel wounded and dismayed in having to again type goodbye to another fellow rider...

    RIP Brother.
My prayers of strength and hope to those left behind.

Christ Almighty! This has not been a good weekend for the biker community. I have only just finished the thread for Bruce and Darryl and now I read another much respected and loved rider has been taken. My heartfelt condolences are with all of you who have lost a friend and to his family. May the loss of a loved one be comforted by the memories you have of them. Peace be with you all..

My sympathies to family and friends.

These posts are a testament to the influence he had on so many riders. Those who knew him are the better for it.

A dark weekend for the biker community.
