Biker down on Te Aute Trust Road HB (3 December)

Just before midday going over Te Aute Trust Road in Hawkes Bay, came around a corner and there was an ambulance and police attending to a motorcyclist who had crashed. The bike was yellow, a Triumph Daytona I think.
    I hope he/she/they are ok.

    Not more bad news...
Ridden that road, and don't know what corner it was, but it'd be easy to mess up. Hope they're ok.

    Ride safe everyone.

    Details in today's paper....
Failed to take a corner, hit a post, Collapsed lung, injured shoulder, broken wrist.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

That will hurt for a while. Glad to hear he is still with us.
Get well soon dude (well, as long as it takes for bones to heal).

    Ouch

Not good hitting something solid when you go off road.

    Heal fast whoever you are.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
