Pulled over - dunno.
Fall over? Possibly. Don't underestimate the strength of the wind. A mate of mine was on the back of my bike and we were carrying a shelf from A to B (scavanging as students do).
Not pretty, and damned hard work. I'd stay off the Motorway for sure...

Great idea, I have been lucky enough to ride on the back of Qkchk and Vagrant and it was great. Qkchk for a faster ride and Vagrant for last weeks slow ride. I learnt something from each one. It is amazing how smooth it can be.
One point to remember - before I learnt to ride, I thought nothing of it to jump on the back but now it is quite scary.![]()

We have a venue sorted now - this will be revealed on the day. Meet at westgate as usual and after a quick discussion from mentors - slow group ride to venue, which is not very far away (5 min).
Refreshements will be provided.

I was pillion for the first time on last weeks Thurs night ride thanks to Mandownunder and I can say it was awesome!! Watching how another rider takes lines etc I learnt alot. Also learnt how different my style is compared to his. I was scared at first because I have always ridden and taken passengers but never the other way around.
Recommend this idea highly!!
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
Is anyone welcome to come along to this? And is it still starting at 6.30pm? Might be hard to get all the away across from East Auckland but I might give it a go![]()
All are welcome. Assembly is 6:30 for 7 start. I come in from Wiri, it's not too bad if you don't mind splitting.
