This week CaN has kindly offered his expertise and will be talking to us on the 'theory' side of things. Still going to have lots of practical hands on time, but with some 'classroom time' in the mix too this week! Arnt we lucky!

This is a great oppurtunity folks to really learn some new skills and concepts of riding and even those that have been riding for some time will benifit from being reminded of some of the basics.

Tis a good idea. Something else I would like to suggest for general discussion - put a newbie on the back of a mentor's bike to look at lines etc. It's not a high speed romp, but a quick and practical example of what to do, how it feels etc.

Think this is a brilliant idea. Would like to feel how smooth the gear changes are on a bike with an experienced rider - always good to compare and see how far mine can improve.

Yes although you would also be fooled by the different machine (bigger bikes may well be smoother and "feel better" generally because of the bigger weight and more power etc.

Yep they are either much bigger or smaller.
