Some Words for a friend Uncle B

A quick intro first my name is Andrew Martin one of Bruces work colleagues.

I have had the pleasure of working with Bruce for 8 years now through 2 different companys. No one can prepare you for this type of news on a Monday morning we are a small team and to have someone who has being a constant in your life for so long taken in an instant is just devastating to us all.

Bruce was our rock the one you could always rely on, he would always be their when you needed him if Bruce was on the job you know it would get done. He was far more than a work colleague to me, always their for some advice whatever the problem or just someone to shoot the shit with. Bruce was a very generous guy weather it mean't waiting 6 months for me to pay him for some moto x gear,or lending me his trailer for weeks at a time or even the odd power tool. I will never forget this my brother.

Bruces love for motorcycles was unmatched weather he was eagerly awaitng another hot part form abroad to arrive, or ducking off to motomart to pick up something new. His bikes were always a picture of perfection modifyed in everyway they just looked fast parked up. You could always gaurantee an ear to ear grin on a Monday following a fine weekend no need to ask what he got up to it was obvious.

It warms my heart to read the comments made on here by all his fellow bikers weather you were lucky enough to meet him in person or just read some of his pearls of wisdom in these forums. He has touched a great many of you in some way over the years and we can all think ourselves so lucky to have experienced his kindness.

Bruce has made us all better people just for being in his presence for however brief the moment and we can never thank him enough for that.

Lastly our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Debbie and Bruces family in their time of grief.

Ride on Greybeard you will always be in our Hearts.

    R.I.P Bruce Hannaford

I second the above comment !!

Some will say that it is a waste for 3 such great humans to go like they have but I believe that none of them wasted life in any way, shape or form !! They touched all they met, helped where they could and lived on the edge getting everything they possibly could out of a day ... No waste there that i can see !!
A man can move much faster without a millstone around his neck, so if he gets the chance to lose her he'd better drop her and run like heck !! .. (10cc "Modern Man Blues" - Deceptive Bends)
