I just happened to be bored at work and surfed over to Cycle World, where I found this gem of an article about custom specials people had created.

I have subscribed to CW for years, and thats my favourite favourite part of the magazine.
the latest one had the Spondon (or Harris) framed CBX, and the Vincati I posted a while ago.
Like you say, people with skill, time and dedication can achieve amazing things.
